Organic seedling of Everbearing raspberry 'Allyouneed®'
Rubus idaeus
The raspberry variety Twotimer ‘Allyouneed’ is the first of a new generation of Twotimer raspberries. As the name suggests, these raspberries produce fruit twice a year.
Its main advantage over previous Twotimer varieties lies in its completely thornless canes and its growth habit, which is perfectly adapted to double cropping: the new canes, reaching up to 200 cm, produce flowers and fruit on their upper third. This part is cut back in February/March of the second year, allowing a second harvest on the lower two-thirds of the canes in June and July.
The fruit size is comparable to the classic Twotimer raspberry ‘Sugana’®, perhaps slightly more consistent throughout the season. The colour is slightly darker at full ripeness than ‘Sugana’, so it is worth waiting until the fruit reaches this deeper colour before harvesting.
Origin of the variety: Lubera
