Organic seedling of Autumn raspberry 'Autumn Happy®'
Rubus idaeus
Cultivation: fruits on current-year canes, from around August 10; in established plantings and after a few years already from early August
Ripening period: from August to mid-October, therefore early
Fruits: very large conical berries with medium-sized drupelets, beautifully structured; firm flesh, berries do not fall apart; however, probably too soft for commercial production and long-distance transport – but with their flavour and qualities, perfect for home gardens
Growth: medium to vigorous; typical slender cane growth with slightly spindle-shaped fruiting laterals, characteristic of English raspberry breeding; this variety even surpasses ‘Autumn Treasure’ in yield and fruit size
Resistance: robust against phytophthora, ideal for garden and small-scale cultivation – perfect to impress your neighbours and enjoy yourself!
Origin of the variety: Lubera
