Seedling Fennel, Autumn Fennel
Foeniculum vulgare var. azoricum
The 'Autumn' fennel is a variety with vigorous and robust foliage.
It forms beautiful bulbs - round, white, fine and tender. It offers a pleasantly aniseed flavour. The late harvest from mid-September to mid-November allows the fennel harvest season to be considerably extended. It is an excellent source of fresh vegetables in autumn. At harvest, the plant can reach 60 cm.
