Endemic medicinal plant. The flowers appear from St. John's to September. Height depending on location 30-100cm. Prefers rather dry locations. Preparation like St John's Wort oil: Cut buds (24. June = St. John's), crush and let stand in olive oil in jars at a sunny spot. Filter through a cloth after about 3 weeks and put oil in small flasks. For external application.
